With so many friends and family on Facebook, I haven’t posted much to the Yahn.Net site.  For those of you who aren’t into the whole Facebooking thing, here are the pictures from the cruise to New England and Canada that Jeff & I and Mom & Dad just took last week.  We had such a great time, even though we froze our butts off!  Enjoy the pics!

Keith and JeffWOW!  What a trip!  Jeff and I are back from two weeks in Alaska and man did we have a great time.  Now we’re both just trying to get back into the swing of work and reality!

Pictures and more will be posted as soon as they are ready.  Between the two of us, we took over 2000 pictures, so we really need to go through them and pick out what we want to post and share!

Grandma Yahn Helen Mae Yahn, 92, of Washington Court House died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 4:40 a.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident since Sept. 17, 1997.Mrs. Yahn was born Nov. 13, 1915 in Clinton Co., Ohio to Charles Oatis and Goldie Anders Chaney. She lived most of her life in Washington C. H. where she was a member of the South Side Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Yahn on March 31, 1986; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Yahn; three brothers, Walter and John Chaney and Wayne Johnson and two sisters, Violet East and Mary Massey.

Mrs. Yahn is survived by seven children and their spouses, Donald Yahn, Martha and William Copeland and Becky and Brad Noble, all of Washington C.H., Jerry and Brigitta Yahn of Georgia, Charles and Marilyn Yahn of Schaefferstown, PA, Danny and Chris Yahn of Winter Springs, FL, Steve and Cindy Yahn of Clarksburg; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Evelyn Chaney of Washington C.H. and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington C.H. with Danny Dodds, minister at the South Side Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.

There are of course far too many memories for me to list….. my Grandma Yahn is greatly loved and missed!

What a busy couple of weeks we have coming up!  Seems that there is something going on almost every day and weekend!!!

Jeff’s Birthday is coming up on May 10th with Mothers’ Day the following day.  Mindy and family are here the next weekend for some fun in the sun.  Memorial Day is just around the corner, the very next weekend, with a big party at Mom and Dad’s.  Oh, and the day after Memorial Day…. oh yeah!!!!  Jeff and I head to Alaska on May 27th for a couple of weeks of cooler weather!

Whew…… so much going on!
